STOP PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK WITH YOUR AGE.

Many thinks that with age comes stillness, stalemates, difficulties and another myriad of things which will prevent them to attain success, but this is not how this works! So don’t discount yourself as “done”, and keep on reading.

First off: If you have the mindset which is described above, you’re WRONG, and that’s because age it is not a determining factor when it comes to success- you’re simply putting shackles on yourself without even trying and doing the work needed to succeed. It simply means that you are content to keep things this way, after all, success it’s not for everybody. DON’T USE AGE AS AN EXCUSE.

Take famous AND successful people as an example, a lot of them didn’t succeed in their efforts early in life, the other way around instead!

  • Samuel Jackson
Jackson was 46 before he found success (and in recovery from addiction to cocaine and heroin)
  • Ray Kroc
Founder of McDonald’s – had passed his 50’s before buying his first McDonald’s and creating a worldwide phenomenon
  • Charles Darwin
He was 50 years old before he published “On the Origin of the Species” in 1859

And these Men are just a FEW examples.

But did you know that instead, succeeding when you’re young has actually quite a few drawbacks?
Such as:

  • You could get TOO comfortable with what you have achieved and as result you’d end up not innovating.
  • You don’t have enough experience – and might misuse\misinterpreted whatever tools or situation you have at that precise moment and as a consequence bring your demise.
  • You could get blinded by success -and let your ego poison your mind, a very common error among young people.

Of course, these situations are a bit generic and could be applied to older people as well, but they do occur more early in life. And as such, a well trained eye that has recognized how to pick up opportunities could come in handy.

In the end, success is what you make of it, if you’ve always taken next to no action when it comes to your desires and ambitions it’s clear as a thousand suns exploding in front of your nose that you WON’T cut it IF you stay put.

But HOW can poor you do it :((?

STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND TAKE THE PLUNGE.
I think this quote sums it all up.

“Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing; prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing. “

-William A. Ward

Take care,
